Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Santa Barbara, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across California run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are 3–9 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. Santa Barbara is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Santa Barbara follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

STAY AWAY!!! **JIMENA, DAYTIME SERVER 2PM 6/25 WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER, I THOUGHT SHE WAS GOING TO TRY TO FIGHT ME********** I have been to this restaurant multiple times, but unfortunately this was by far the worst customer service experience I've ever had. From the moment we walked in, our server, Jimena, had an unfriendly attitude and came across as rude. Despite that, my coworker and I remained polite throughout the entire meal. When we asked about the sushi/hibachi burrito, we were told it was takeout only. I asked what would happen if someone ordered it for takeout and then decided to eat it inside. Jimena told me they would be kicked out. The policy didn't make much sense to me, but we accepted it and ordered a different burrito that was available for dine-in. About 10 minutes later, my sushi, edamame, and drinks arrived, but my coworker's burrito never came. After waiting another 20-30 minutes, we asked about it. Based on her reaction, it was clear the order had been forgotten. We watched as she walked over to the register and entered the burrito order while my food had already been sitting on the table getting cold. Since we were on our lunch break, this delay was especia

Note my family would give this restaurant a higher rating and they did accommodate my allergies but in doing so, the food was tasteless. The soy sauce this business uses is a highly commercial product found at every grocery store. They do have a low sodium option but not a gluten-free option so my food was very tasteless. The service was good, the hibachi show was a little lackluster but fine. I got the ribeye and calamari and the calamari was excellent. I'll just restate, have a gluten-free soy option (or tamarind) on site and you will gain/keep a lot more customers. My meal was blah due to no seasoning, although the ingredients were fresh. This is also the priciest hibachi I've ever been to and an automatic tip was added to our table of six with two children. I had already tipped the hibachi chef so my tip was excessive. I'd recommend for those with no need for accommodations due to allergies.

We ordered the Hibachi Mahi Mahi, Hibachi Calamari with fried rice, and Shrimp Tempura. It was our first time experiencing hibachi, and the food was absolutely delicious. The calamari and mahi mahi were cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The servers were also extremely friendly and helpful, and the restaurant had a very nice atmosphere. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely recommend this place.

Whether I’m stoping by for a quick bite or bringing family or friends along, it’s always a great experience and vibe. I’ve been coming here for years and it STILL hits every time πŸ‘! The hibachi is always on point, the sushi is fresh and delicious, and the fried rice is a must every time. I also love their spicy garlic edamame and A5 waygu sushi SO GOOD. The all day happy hour is a huge plus too makes it even better with 5$ sushi rolls at their sushi bar !!!

Had a great experience here! The food was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly right in front of us. The hibachi chefs were entertaining and really knew what they were doing, which made the whole experience even better. Service was attentive and everything came out quickly. Definitely recommend and will be coming back!
